Accurate - (Even to 10 micron stochastic) Every measurement uses the automatic calibration function, no need to calibrate the instrument for different screen rulings, angles, etc. Higher precision with supercell, hybrid, and stochastic halftoning on all plates and substrates. Dot Area, Screen Ruling, Screen Angle, and Dot Diameter with every measurement. High Resolution image zoom at the touch of a button, critical in determining dot quality as it affects printability and CAP resolution. Images and data can be downloaded for documentation and characterization with BetaTab II  software.

BASIC
Entry level & cost -
For metal and polyester plates
Ultra-high resolution, self contained, image-based halftone analyzer for halftones up to 400 lpi. Features image display for visual verification and serial data port for downloads. Is upgradeable to Advanced/Ultimate functions.

For all plates, proofs,
press sheets, and film.
Measure true dot area without optical dot gain. Conventional and Stochastic screening to 10 Micron Pixels Red, Green, and Blue array of 12 LED's for uniform, shadow-free illumination.

The ULTIMATE combination of the ADVANCED PLUS "Plate Quality Software" (PQS) system database software for calibration, certification, and documentation. PQS supports the following features:
